Mix & Match: Checks + Aztec

I am sure that you know I love mixing prints. I think mixing two different prints or texture is an art. So, here my outfit is bright, bold and trendy at the same time. My accessories are colourful too. However too much colours can make or break an outfit.

Read on to know the perfect way to balance checks and Aztec together.

1. The linear method: No I am not talking about mathematical term, I am talking about making myself look fitter and proportional by choosing the right colour and print in right places. I looked for bright and horizontal prints at the bottom since I am a cornet shape. This Aztec print jogger is bright and has horizontal zigzag lines which draws more attention to my bottom half than top half.  The navy blue top underneath the cross checks blazer is darker and perfectly goes with my skin tone making my top half linear.

2. Dangling and Attracting: Dangling earrings always makes people look at your face first. Moreover as the shape of this particular earrings are slimmer, makes it pretty much attractive and perfect.

3. Crosses all over: My whole look has zigzag patterns and crosses. From the half sleeve blazer to my jogger and even the coloublocking shoes. Try this new fashion tip out and make a statement.

4. Go for a little bit of neutral: Head to toe neutral and monochromatic look is always in. If you are wondering what to try with your most colourful outfit, try something like this. Go for one neutral and one bright rainbow accessories to balance your look.

5. Half sleeve Jacket: Jackets are a Fashionholics go-to piece. However when summer arrives and it's too hot to wear your favourite piece, try light fabric and a half sleeve one.

6. Rainbow for accessories: If you are scared of too much colours, take a baby step....you do not have to go for colourful top or dress, you can simply choose colourful accessories and make your outfit look fresh.

So these are my tips on mixing Aztec and checks like a pro.

Let me know how you would mix aztec and checks and how would accessorize your outfit.

Mix And Match: Larger Than Life Florals + Nautical Stripe + GreekInspired

Hey Fashion Lovers!

This photo shoot took place two weeks before in my home in Bangladesh. I had a birthday party to attend and I wanted a break from two of the most common colours I choose for any birthday parties :red and pink. I went for yellow dress that has big orange flowers all over it, cobalt blue statement necklace, black and white nautical stripe bag and colourblock shoes.

Read on to know more about this look. Hope to hear your opinion on my outfit post soon.

Today's mix and match tip is : Larger than life florals + nautical stripe + Greek inspired

I love this maxi dress not only because it has larger 3D florals but it also has boat neck and short sleeve. It's perfect for spring and summer.

I opted for something that is Inspired by Greek. If you are interested to try my latest mix and match tip You can either opt for something like this one or you can wear braided belts around your waist.

Everything big and bold is not always a bad idea. Consider a statement necklace and statement earrings in different colours. The trick is to make sure it goes with the dress. Here I opted for cobalt blue statement necklace and burgundy fringe earrings.

Looking for a great fashion tip?....Don't match your shoe with your bag! I always try my best to think outside of the box and give any old dress of mine a whole new life. Here I went for nautical stripe and colourblock shoes.

"Not exactly middle part" hairstyle is what I have been thinking of trying. At a first glance it seems the hair is parted in the middle, but actually it's parted to the right.

I finished my look with grey eye shadow and brown lipstick. Let me know what you think about this outfit of last week. Also let me know how you would wear your maxi dress this summer. Hope you liked today's mix and match tip and looking forward to read about your latest fashion tip.

Mix And Match: Handkerchief Print + Floral Print

Hey Fashionholics!

If you have to mix two different prints in your outfit what would you choose?

Well, today I went for handkerchief print top and floral stud earrings.

absolutely adore my handkerchief print top bought from a store called Artisan of Bangladesh. I wanted to make it stand out and thought of going for something dark in the bottom.

So, today my ootd includes my new handkerchief print top, tights, mustard shoe and navy blue peplum skirt. I kept the whole look simple by adding only one statement accessory, my floral print ear stud!

Check out my look below and please comment.

Fashion Tip: pink + navy + mustard

Fashion Tip: handkerchief print + floral print

Fashion Tip: ballerina style pump + peplum

Let me know what you think about my outfit above and whether you would mix these two prints or not.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Mix And Match: Kimono + Palazzo

Hey Fashion lovers!

How it's going? My outfit of the day is kimono and palazzo and I finished my look with 3D flower necklace.

I am not a very big fan of palazzo but I am a big fan of this shade of blue which looks great with many colours especially black and white. So, I decided to wear this bright cobalt palazzo I bought very recently with one of my old favourite black and white printed kimono top.

Read on to know how I mixed and matched my look.

I tend to shy away from big prints coz I am heavier at the top, but recently I started experimenting them with different cuts and style. So, I went for not so large kimono sleeve and V-neck which makes my outfit look better.

It reminds me of end of winter and start of spring....This necklace is one of my favourite and it blends with the whole look without making me look bulky.

I love mixing large prints like this with basic prints like stripe. Want a fashion forward look? Go for separate items in same colour combination but different patterns and texture.

I tend to carry bulky bags like this....rather than carrying it under my arm because I want to draw attention to lower parts of my body which is slimmer compared to my top half. This is also one of the reason I balanced this kimono top with a bright cobalt blue palazzo which also draws attention towards my leg.

Let me know what you think about my outfit of the day? Do you ever want to try kimono and palazzo together. Let me know how would you wear it in the comments section below ...

Xoxo.
