Fashion Tips From: Dior Cruise 2017 Show

The recent Cruise 2017 fashion show hosted by Dior at Blenheim Palace inspired me to write a blog post about it's beautiful collection which was inspired by the ongoing cultural and creative exchange between France and England. During eighteenth century France fell in love with the English style and where as in twentieth century England fell for the Parisian style. Therefore in the recent collection most of the silhouette had a twist of both cultures and at the same time all the looks had a modern touch to it.

All the looks were spectacular and breathtaking! Something that made everyone to talk about were the beautiful bags and backpacks. Moreover according to the Dior's creative director Lucie Mier and and Serge Ruffieux layering and being dramatic at the same time is the key fashion tip of Dior cruise 2017 collection. Speaking of fashion tip, A Fashionholic's Life's main moto is to give unique fashion tips to all the beautiful women out there and never forgets to help women with personal style queries. So, just like every time I have selected couple photos from Dior Cruise 2017 collection to help u with fashion tips and tricks. A New Way To Wear A Shirtdress

I know sometimes I go crazy when it comes to mixing prints! But sometimes I don't focus on prints! Sometimes I am in the mood of mixing different combination of wardrobe staples that have different length and would look unusually fashion forward when worn together!

I also love the idea of wearing a dresses over pants! But there is a right way to do it! No, I am not showing you how to wear dress over pants here (that is reserved for another day ) but I am showing how shirtdress should be worn over your outfit, in my case a cute top and a peplum skirt!

Check out all my latest mix and match tip

Finding a new way to jazz up your peplum skirt while going out with your girls? Throw on a Shirtdress over your blouse. Tuck the blouse in your peplum skirt and keep your shirtdress unbutton to show your  perfect outfit.

Go for sleeveless shirtdress over your half sleeve printed top to show the fun print of your blouse.

A great way to wear short skirts is to pair them with flats not heels. It gives you a laid back yet sexy look

Go for shorter layering pieces. Go for uneven lengths to style your outfit. I opted for shorter shirt dress over a slightly longer peplum skirt.

Go for no or fewer accessories when your outfit has busier prints. I went for one metallic bracelet and I was good to go.

I finished  my look with soft metallic Versace bag and cover girl lipgloss.

Mix And Match: Handkerchief Print + Floral Print

Hey Fashionholics!

If you have to mix two different prints in your outfit what would you choose?

Well, today I went for handkerchief print top and floral stud earrings.

absolutely adore my handkerchief print top bought from a store called Artisan of Bangladesh. I wanted to make it stand out and thought of going for something dark in the bottom.

So, today my ootd includes my new handkerchief print top, tights, mustard shoe and navy blue peplum skirt. I kept the whole look simple by adding only one statement accessory, my floral print ear stud!

Check out my look below and please comment.

Fashion Tip: pink + navy + mustard

Fashion Tip: handkerchief print + floral print

Fashion Tip: ballerina style pump + peplum

Let me know what you think about my outfit above and whether you would mix these two prints or not.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Xoxo.
