Floral Printed Pants Saves The Night!

I attended a dinner party last night in the midst of gloomy weather. It was raining cats and dogs and I didn't know what to wear. I didn't feel like opting for a cocktail dress or wide leg pants which are in vogue right now. I wanted to try something out of the box but at the same time wanted to feel comfortable. I went for my dark floral printed pants.

 Floral Printed Pants totally came to rescue!!! 

So my pick of the night was printed pants and I wanted my accessories to be the dominating factor  in my attire.And ....Wavy and messy was What I wanted for my hair to look in this rainy weather. Read on to know more about my outfit.

It's easy to style a printed pant if it's base colour is black.

As I said I want my accessories to stand out, I opted for something shiny and I went for flower statement necklace that matched the floral prints of my pant.

I tucked in my white zipper shirt loosely as it makes my body shape look proportional and leaner. 

The statement accessory for last night was a polka dotted mint print box clutch from Target.

Something that makes any woman look tall is pointy pump and if it's a classic black pump it would make any outfit look gorgeous and elegant.

Going Karate Kid!

Hey Fashionholics!

No, I am not suggesting anyone to learn karate or take up kick boxing lessons this summer. All I am saying is this could be a new fashion trend for this summer. I have worn this outfit last month and made culottes the official favourite bottoms in my wardrobe.

So, in this scorching heat I find culottes the most appropriate transitional piece that can be worn in both summer and spring. What's your spring to summer transition piece?

Judo belt is a must if you really want the karate kid look.

Combination of vibrant red, cobalt blue and earthy brown shows the spring to summer transition time.

Not a fan of chain necklace. But bigger chain necklace in metallic surely drew my attention.

I went for little bit of waves in the end when it came to hairstyle. Keeping the top part straight.

Fashion Revolution: Who Made My Clothes?

Hi Fashion Lovers! Do you know who made your clothes.....? Do you know the brand name?

 24 th April is Fashion Revolution Day . On 24 April 2013, 1133 people were killed and over 2500 people were injured when the Rana Plaza factory complex collapsed in my city Dhaka, Bangladesh.Such social plus environmental catastrophic situation continues and its high time we need to change the scenario. 

On Fashion Revolution day, I, Qazi Fabia Hoq would like to honour all the people who died in the tragic death of Rana Plaza Plaza Factory collapse.

Today, on fashion revolution day, I know the brands behind my outfit and accessories. So, today I wore a shift tops with gorgeous neckline from Catseye, Bangladesh. Black maxi skirt from George, Walmart. Ivory studded wedges from Khadim, India. Stacked bracelets from, Call It Spring, Canada.

Just like every other today I have my very own fashion tips to share with you guys.

Fashion Lessons to follow from my today's ootd are as follows:

1. Fashion Tip: shift top + maxi skirt + statement wedges + stack of bracelet.

2. Mix And Match: Go for tops or shirt with gorgeous neckline and finish the look with stack of bracelet for a night out instead of lots of chunky accessories.

3. Colour Combo: Ivory shoe + blush bag 

4. Hairstyle Tip: Wavy lob hair that falls loosely on either of your shoulders.
