How To Wear Full Sleeves When It's Still Hot Outside

Summer is not going to last forever and it's leaving us before we know it. :( Sad...right? But before we repent for not being able to enjoy more of the warm summer breeze, wearing shorts and strolling on the beach, here are one of the easy way to update your look for the end of summer.

Well, end of summer gives us the opportunity to wear fall items without being totally in the fall spirit.... So, I thought why not try full sleeve top which is kept at the back of the closet to be specifically worn during fall. So, here is one of the outfit idea I came up with to try for the end of summer.

Check out the photos and fashion tips to know about my latest outfit idea!

Go for full sleeve crop top in light fabric to stay comfortable.

Go for floral print from top to bottom to bring on the summer vibe.

Let your skin breath by showing some skin. Bare your legs and finish the look with trendy loafers, olive green bag.

What I learned From Being Cute And Feminine

Well, it is outside my comfort zone to try something that has minimal or less prints! I wanted to try something that is fun and breezy and something that has solid colours! I took a little break from my usual style and went for something that was not menswear inspired or has no edginess or has no experimentation, or something that is not statement making and nor even eccentric....in short I went for something that "does not describe me"!

I went for something feminine and sweared by to stick to solid colour! I bought this dress a long time ago but it to my horror it didn't fit me!!! Waited for a year and half and one day tada.....it fits me and surprisingly I find it "suitable" for me! i found it suitable not because it fits me but because I love the colour: blush! I also love the embroidery on the body and obviously "loooooved" the  drop waist style which I dreaded before because I had the misconception that it makes people look larger than they are! On the contrary it makes you look feminine and cute!!!

As it was windy outside I choosed a long sleeve toasted almond colour shrug which looks great with the colour of my dress! Trust me on this I am saying toasted not because I love Avocado Toast but because this particular colour is called toasted almond! Sounds crazy? right? The colour is refreshing and looks perfect with the blush dress! They are truly "made for each other"!

The animal print leather and fur loafer adds a perfect edgyness to my feminine outfit. I did not wanted to let go off my personal style completely and thought I should add a bit of edgyness to my look!

Since I strongly believe that an outfit could look great only when you add your personal touch to it! I thought I should opt for something that describes me! I went for my statement making necklace! Since my outfit had lots of light and feminine colours I opted for something bright!!!I wore a cobalt statement necklace to finish off this fun and breezy summer outfit.

However I wanted my outfit to look put together and it would only look put together if a belt is clinched on the waist! I added a baby pink wide belt!

So here is my tip,  the colour combo to try this summer :Blush pink + Toasted Almond + Cobalt +  Baby Pink

So, what I learned is this:

  1. It is okay to wear something that you have never tried
  2. You should wear solids
  3. Blush pink looks great on anyone
  4. Loafers are great
  5. When in doubt add a little bit of personal style
  6. You should take toasted almond colour seriously!!!!
  7. Trying something out of comfort zone is called "experimentation"
  8. Go for statement making accessories when you are unsure about your outfit
  9. Add a belt to define your waist
  10. That You have read till this

Check out the photos and let me know what you think about this summer outfit!

One Trend Each Season For The Next One Year

Hey Fashionholics!
If you have to choose only one trend each season for the next one year, what would you choose?
Check out the trends to crave for each season which made headline news in Ready to Wear runway shows.

Fall: Anything tweed is in and if it's a Chanel number then you are the ultimate Fashionholic! Check out my three tips: skirt over fitted pants, pattern play and tweed dress and let me know how you would wear tweed this fall!

Winter: This winter when it comes to anything fuzzy and warm don't opt for favorited neutral trench coat, black coat or even bright ones. Choose unique pattern in fall colours. Pattern coats were seen in Gucci Fall 2015 Ready To Wear collection.

Spring: Neutral hues would never go out of style. Forget floral print for spring and opt for breezy flows silhouette in neutral colour as seen on Tibi Ready to Wear 2016. You can wear this trend with Victorian inspired necklace keeping your hair loose and wavy.

Summer: Summer is going to be lovely and the most favourite for all the fashionistas out there. Most of the collection (especially Newyork Fashion Week) of Spring Summer Ready To Wear 2016 were flowy, inspired by 70s and 60s, geek chic and colourfu. One of the trend that made huge news in the opening of Newyork Fashion Week was ribbon. Seen in Proenza Schouler this trend could be experimented anywhere from tying around the waist as belt to using it as pussy bow.

Let me know which one is your favourite and is there any trend you would love to add along with the one that made headlines?

Petal Full Skirt + Turtleneck Top + Vest + Edgy Accessories

With all the craziness going around in my house and with the sudden technical problem in my iPad it's becoming hard for me to focus on my blogging. However after getting done with my manicure and getting my iPad fixed I got back to my blogging world. My love for blogging hasn't diminished yet and would never be in the future.

So, today I feel a huge burden has been lifted from my shoulder: my IPad is working again. I lost all my pictures saved but I got all my important notes back. I m a bit relieved that I can get back in to my work and feel fabulous.

Check out my latest outfit I wore when I was running errands finishing all my important works including getting my iPad fixed.

A great printed full skirt with petals is the perfect item for summer. Read on how I wear it and let me know what you think.

Looks good With loafers, sure! Gone are the days when a full skirt is worn with stilettos or wedges. Make it edgy and casual with something like this zebra print loafers and feel comfortable all day long.

Go crazy with accessories! More unique the better! I went for this double layer strand necklace with a hanger and coins dangling in the end.

Give your bag a makeover! Instead of carrying  ur structured bag on your wrist, go for long satchel and give it the illusion of cross body bag.

I went for a simple white cuff with golden dots

Layer your turtle neck top with a vest or shrug next time and master the art of layering. This would give you protection from wind and make you look chic.

Let me know in the comments below what you think.xoxo

Travel In Style

Hey Fashionholics!

I am back in Toronto and I feel it would be difficult for me to adjust for some time since I was living in a warm country, Bangladesh. It is still cold out there with minimum 4 degrees and maximum of 11 degrees Celsius. The temperature is going to increase in the next couple of days...phew...welcome summer.

These are the photos taken at the airport just before boarding. Hope you guys like my travel outfit which feels comfortable yet stylish.

Read on to know more about my outfit in details.

1. I tend to go for bigger bucket bag in basic colours with lots of compartments and pockets every time I travel. This is because a big bag in necessary while traveling to carry all the required documents, passport and boarding pass, pen, lipstick, deodorant etc. it's also better to choose colours like black cause it literally goes with everything and so the colour is said to be universal.
My bag is from Kohls and the brand is Seinna Richi.

2.  Layering is must when I am traveling since the airports are cold and I don't want to freeze to death. I usually go for longer ones that cover my knee. Want to travel in style? Choose a printed sleeveless summer coat (if you are travelling during end of spring or start of summer) that has A-line shapped at the bottom.
The dressy coat is from Lotus , Bankok and the brand is FnF.

3. It is absolutely necessary to feel comfortable in what you are wearing especially at the airports. If there is  a long journey ahead the clothes must feel comfortable like being born in them and at the same make a statement by choosing something that stands out from the crowd. Culottes and crop top are cute and comfy. Crop top is the most trendiest item of last three seasons and culotte being the most favourite trend of  springs/summer 2015, I thougt of trying this combination of old trend (crop top) and new trend (culotte) out while traveling. And I must say I love what I am wearing!
The colour block crop top is from Urban Planet and the culotte are from the streets of London.

4.  Forgot sneakers go for loafers the next time you guys are travelling. If I have to define this particular shoe it would be: you can walk around all day long comfortably and stylishly! My black and white zebra print leather loafers are super comfy and matches  perfectly with my dressy coat. Want a style tip for today? Match your summer coat with your shoe.
The loafers are from Hush Puppies.

I finished off my look with pearl bracelet and a small ruby pendant, and with little bit of lip gloss I was good to go.

Anyways let me know whether you like my latest post and outfits and please comment about how you would travel in style.

Eager to hear from you guys soon...

Mix & Match: Loafers + Fit & Flare Dress + Leggings

Hello Fashionholics!

A new day brings a new fashion tip!

Today I was in the mood for something light and romantic and though of trying out one of my dress from my India trip of last year. So, I wore my lace blush colour fit and flare dress that has three quarter sleeves and toughened it up with leather leggings and loafers from Marie Claire which has black and white cheetah print on top.

Read on to take notes on Fashion tips.

1. Colour block with light colours like go for something like powder blue and lemon, light peach and ivory and one of my favourite blush with white.

2. One thing I love about this dress is the tulle at the bottom which makes the dress look adorable. Look for Tulles and laces for the romantic look every girl craves.

3. Dress over leggings doesn't have to be weird....Well that's what the Channel SS2015 runway report says!

4. Add only one fun colourful accessories to simple outfit cause you don't want people to notice your clothes and accessories only!!! What I mean is that people should also notice and appreciate you and your style! Therefore I choosed to wear only one fun accessory this time.

5. Look for longer necklaces to make your torso look lean and also look for geometric shapes.

6. This necklace has very interesting colour combination like tangerine, peach, orange, light cobalt, yellow, sea green and is perfect from day to night. Therefore this statement necklace is fun and creative way to style your outfit.

7. Get the look of romantic yet grungy with this simple rule. Go for 1 romantic item with 2 grungy pieces. In this case I went for lace fit and flare dress for the romantic vibe. I toughened my look with leather leggings and cheetah print fur and leather loafer.

8. Tired of this particular romantic yet grungy look? No problem! Add fun accessory like statement necklace which calls attention.

9. Want another interesting trick? Next time go for two tone fit and flare dress

10. Menswear inspired pieces are everywhere from runway to high ends and every other high street stores to thrift stores and you name it. So, keeping that in mind I went for loafers which is trendy and comfortable.

11. The most important fashion tip from this look is that balancing 4 different styles in one outfit. Fashion tip and trick from this ootd: romantic+grungy+menswear inspired+fun and creative.

12. The last fashion tip to note: loafers+fit & flare dress+leggings

Let me know what other fashion tip you could think of and how would wear this trend. Comment below to let me know about your opinion on today's look.
Xoxo.

Mix & Match: Grey + Paisley Print + Zebra Print

Hey Fashionholics!
I bought a fur and leather zebra print loafers from Bata Marie Claire. Instead of wearing it with menswear inspired clothes I wore it with feminine staples. So i went for purple paisley full skirt from Kolkata. I usually wear this skirt with button downs, jumper or sweater; instead I changed my decision and went for something eastern inspired. This kimono style grey and red top from Cats Eye of Bangladesh is something that I wore less than any other staples in my closet so I thought of trying it out. Then I  added a nice watch and this fun bracelet from Malaysia and kept my accessories minimal because I wanted the outfit to be the centre of attention.
Write to me in the comments about your outfit of the day.
